I write memoir, personal essays, articles, profiles, and reviews for magazines, newspapers, and online venues. I was a finalist for the Frank McCourt Memoir Prize. I've been nominated twice for the Pushcart Prize and am a recipient of a Connecticut Press Club award. I've been published in The New York Times, Brain Child: The Magazine for Thinking Mothers, Memoir Magazine, Inkling Magazine, and featured in The Hartford Courant. My writing has been recognized by Proximity Magazine and The Southampton Review.

I edit memoirs, novels, personal essays, and articles, providing writers developmental feedback and guidance on standalone excerpts and full manuscripts. Having been promoted from Contributing Editor to Managing Editor of two award-winning literary magazines, I now serve as Editor-in-Chief of Centered: The magazine of personal stories, a literary magazine I founded which has been nominated for a Firecracker Award by CLMP (Community of Literary Magazines and Presses) for Best Debut Magazine. I've honed my editorial skills in publishing and taught creative writing at Wesleyan University, in addition to lecturing at Bay Path University and Central Connecticut State University.

I work with writers to help them hone essays, articles, memoirs, novels, and business writing. Clients have been published by Penguin Random House, Macmillan Publishers, New World Library, and Outskirts Press. Authors have earned literary prizes for writing we've shaped together, clients' blogs have been syndicated as a result of my publishing input, and writers have been profiled in The Wall Street Journal and The Hartford Courant. I've worked one-on-one with writers as a writing coach at literary hubs, including Westport Writers' Workshop and The Storyteller's Cottage.
